Berlin, Germany – March 4, 2026 – Announced today at ITB Berlin, VenueSuite has launched demand-based pricing for Meetings & Events (M&E) within its direct booking engine, extending rate management beyond guestrooms to meeting spaces.

While dynamic pricing has long been standard practice for transient room revenue, M&E pricing has traditionally remained static, manual, or negotiated. VenueSuite’s new functionality introduces demand-based rate adjustments for meeting rooms and packages directly within the digital booking flow. Lower-demand days are positioned more attractively to stimulate incremental business, while peak dates remain competitively aligned to protect rate integrity and optimize total M&E revenue.

The feature provides corporate bookers with immediate visibility into availability and transparent pricing, reducing back-and-forth communication and accelerating decision-making. For hotels, it enables more precise occupancy management by aligning meeting space pricing more closely with demand patterns.

Aligning Meeting Space Pricing with Demand

Hotels are under increasing pressure to maximize total revenue per square meter — not just RevPAR from guestrooms. As digital booking expectations continue to rise and corporate buyers seek faster, self-service solutions, static M&E pricing models can create friction and missed revenue opportunities.

Extending demand-based logic to meeting space sales reflects a broader shift toward integrated commercial strategies, where rooms, meetings, and ancillary revenue are managed in closer alignment.

“Demand-based pricing brings logical, data-driven rate management to Meetings & Events,” said Ralph van Hooijdonk, CEO of VenueSuite. “Bookers gain immediate clarity, and hotels gain better control over occupancy and revenue — all within one streamlined booking experience.”

Early adopters are already seeing measurable impact. KAS Meeting-Event Location, which has been testing the feature, reports increased interest in lower-demand dates while maintaining stable pricing during peak periods.

We’ve observed more requests for lower-rate days, attracting new clients. For peak days, pricing remains stable, creating a good balance. It’s a logical approach that enhances transparency.
Jonathan Ruijter, Co-owner KAS Meeting-Event Location

By integrating real-time availability, pricing logic, and direct booking capabilities, VenueSuite extends commercial revenue management principles into the M&E segment within one system.
